Consignment

Most companies buy items from the seller at a low price so they can resell for a profit. But at 2nd Bloom, we do things differently. We don’t buy your item — we partner with you to find the best value for your piece. Once it sells, the majority of the profit goes directly to the consignor. 2nd Bloom only retains a small percentage as commission.

We take care of everything:
– Item evaluation and market research
– Listing and professional presentation
– Storage, packaging and shipping
– Customer service
– Marketing and promotion
– Secure handling and insurance
– Even donations to women’s causes come from our portion, not yours.

Our goal is to offer a transparent, respectful and empowering experience — where both the consignor and the community win.

At 2nd Bloom, we believe in fair value, full transparency, and shared purpose. When someone consigns with us, they’re not just selling — they’re becoming part of a movement of women helping women.

Unlike other platforms that buy your item at a low price to resell it for profit, we work to determine the true market value of each piece so the consignor can get the best return possible. Once the item is sold, the consignor receives between 50% to 60% of the final selling price — a fair and honest cut.

2nd Bloom retains around 30% to 40%, which covers everything we handle: photography, listing, customer service, marketing, packaging, shipping, and platform fees. We assume all operational costs so the consignor doesn’t have to worry about anything.

From our portion, we also donate 3% to local organizations that support women survivors of domestic violence. It’s our way of making sure every piece sold helps create new beginnings — not just for closets, but for lives.

Some consignors even choose to donate a portion of their own earnings, and we welcome that generosity as an optional way to give back even more.
