At 2ND BLOOM, we believe a special piece should not have to remain forgotten in a closet.
Our consignment service gives your luxury and premium pieces a new opportunity while we take care of the evaluation, preparation, presentation, promotion, and sale.
Each piece is evaluated individually to determine whether it aligns with our inventory, our clientele, and the current market.
WHAT PIECES DO WE ACCEPT?
We work with a curated selection of:
• Handbags
• Select footwear
• Accessories
• Designer jewelry and fashion jewelry
• Special luxury and premium-brand pieces
At this time, we do not accept clothing for consignment.
We work with selected brands such as Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo, BuDhaGirl, UlliRap, Valentino, Prada, Christian Louboutin, Tiffany & Co., David Yurman, TOUS, and other brands that we evaluate individually.
Acceptance of a piece depends on factors such as brand, model, authenticity, condition, demand, resale value, and current market performance. These criteria are consistent with those established in your current consignment agreement.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. We evaluate your piece
We review the brand, model, overall condition, authenticity, and resale potential.
Submitting or delivering a piece for evaluation does not automatically guarantee that it will be accepted or published.
2. We conduct market research
We analyze comparable pieces, demand, condition, included accessories, and current market behavior in order to recommend a listing price.
The initial price is discussed with you before the piece is published. Your current agreement specifically establishes this market research and pricing recommendation process.
3. We verify authenticity and condition
Authenticity is an essential part of our process.
We may request receipts, certificates, proof of provenance, or professional authentication when necessary.
If a piece requires authentication, cleaning, conditioning, or any additional process before it is ready for sale, we will let you know in advance.
4. We prepare your piece for sale
Once accepted and ready, our team takes care of preparation, photography, content creation, listing, promotion, and handling throughout the consignment process.
5. We list and promote your piece
The piece is added to our sales channels and officially begins its consignment period.
The standard consignment term is 90 calendar days from the date the piece is officially published, not from the date it is delivered for evaluation.
6. When it sells, we notify you
Once the sale is completed and the buyer’s payment has been confirmed, we will contact you and process the corresponding payment according to the terms established in your consignment agreement.
The current agreement provides for notification and payment within five business days, subject to situations such as returns, chargebacks, or payment disputes.
WHAT ARE THE CONSIGNMENT TERMS?
Every piece and every consignment is different.
For that reason, the commercial terms related to your consignment are explained personally during the evaluation process and are clearly established in the 2ND BLOOM Consignment Agreement before we begin.
This allows us to evaluate each piece individually and recommend the best sales strategy based on its value and the current market.
AUTHENTICITY
At 2ND BLOOM, we take the authenticity of the pieces we offer very seriously.
Anyone consigning with us must guarantee the authenticity of their items. When necessary, 2ND BLOOM may request additional documentation or require professional authentication before a piece is published.
AUTHENTICITY YOU CAN TRUST
Authenticity is at the heart of our consignment process.
2nd Bloom works with leading professional authentication platforms, including Entrupy, Real Authentication, and Legit App, to help verify eligible luxury pieces when additional authentication is required.
Our team may also request receipts, certificates, proof of provenance, serial numbers, date codes, or other supporting documentation when applicable.
Every item is reviewed individually, and certain pieces may require third-party authentication before they are approved for sale.
